This weekend our neighbours douce hosted their pop-up flea market right on our doorstep and it was bigger and better than ever. 😎

We love to see Eddington thriving and the locals enjoying all that there is to offer.

Back to school for the local kids today 🫶📚

What a beautiful summer it’s been spent with all the wonderful families here at La Pizzica. Now it’s time for a new year of learning, new adventures and, of course, plenty of hungry minds to feed! 🍕

Wishing all the little ones a fantastic first day back - we’ll be here ready with the pizza oven fired up! 🔥

Meet the Queen of La Pizzica - your winner, straight from the polls to the pizza oven.

She shares her name with us for a reason. La Pizzica is Marco’s own creation, rooted in his hometown of Diamante on the Calabrian coast and his love of Calabrian chilli. San Marzano tomato, fiordilatte mozzarella, spianata piccante, n’duja di Spilinga and crushed dried peppers - bold, spicy, and unmistakably Diamante.

Spotted the chilli on our t-shirts? Diamante doesn’t do heat by halves - home to Europe’s biggest chilli festival, the Peperoncino Festival, every September.

It’s been another beautiful Buon Ferragosto celebrating in Calabria. 🇮🇹

For us, it always means the same thing - home. Back to the tomato vines, back to the chillies drying in the sun the way they always have here, back to Nonno’s grill and the pergola heavy with grapes. Every summer looks a little different as our family grows, but the traditions never do.

It’s these trips that keep La Pizzica rooted in something real. The same recipes, the same ingredients, the same love for good food shared together - just carried forward into a new season, here in Eddington.

Grazie, Calabria.

What a night! 🔥

Our pizzaiolos were absolutely flying last night as the community came out to enjoy the partial eclipse - and somehow we ended up having one of our busiest nights ever!

A massive thank you to everyone who came down, and especially to those who waited patiently. We know it was a busy one, and we really appreciate you sticking with us. ❤️
