Remember that there is NO Compass tonight, but you can join us for a trip to Ely on Saturday! We'll meet at the Cambridge train station at 11am and will visit the famous cathedral and the pretty town of Ely. Bring money for the train (around £3) and enough for the cathedral visit and lunch (around £20).

Why not pop along to Compass café this Friday to chat to native English speakers and decorate some gingerbread biscuits? It's a great way to meet new friends and practice your language skills! 5-7pm on Fridays at Livingstones Café.

Next week is Shrove Tuesday - a traditional British festive day which means we get to eat lots of pancakes! We'll be celebrating it a few days early at Compass Café this Friday, where you'll have the opportunity to eat pancakes with tasty toppings and practice your English with native speakers.

Today at Compass, we'll be doing some art... with the help of a traditional English vegetable! Drop in between 5pm and 7pm at Livingstones' Cafe on St Andrew's Street for conversation with native English speakers and some hot drinks and biscuits.

You're invited to a formal dinner at Clare College on Wednesday 19th February. Formals are a tradition at Cambridge University and are an opportunity to enjoy a three-course meal with friends. We'll meet at the porters' lodge in Clare College at 7.15pm; please wear smart clothes. The cost is £16.30 and the food is usually excellent! If you'd like to come, please send us a message or speak to one of the team by Friday 14th February.
