💛 An Important Update
Next week, we’ll need to temporarily close to carry out essential work in our kitchen and replace equipment that has struggled through the recent heatwave. Our freezer has unfortunately reached the end of its life, and several other appliances need replacing before they fail completely.
To fit the new equipment, we’ll actually need to remove and rebuild parts of our kitchen, so this isn’t something we can do while remaining open. As some of you know, we built this cafe with our own hands, so we’ll be undertaking these tasks ourselves.
We know we’ve already had to close unexpectedly during the recent extreme temperatures, and we completely understand that this may be disappointing. Please know that we’re just as disappointed. Every day we’re closed is a day we’re unable to do what we love and a day of lost income for our small business.
We’re hoping that these improvements will help us keep up with demand, increase production, and continue serving you safely and reliably for years to come.
