Lot of our friends and customers no doubt kept wondering as to “why” we were forced to close so quickly. I can now openly discuss and share the battle that not only myself but other Independant friends and business, have or are facing against an external investment that has no care for the local community!

My only question is how can the local authority have let this happen despite the concerns raised were never followed through! How can we let large investments funds put profits above local community impact!

Funny that nearly all the large nationals within the centre had a revised deal or financial support in relocating like H&M in a very short time but all the Independant businesses within the centre either had their lease terminated with no offer of relocation despite several units available outside of the proposed redevelopment or simply revised contract not finalised two years down the line!

have been putting off writing this post for a few days as myself can’t believe that after nearly 8 years I have to say goodby to the 1 thing to which myself and the team have spent so much time building/ creating and sacrificing.

But It is with the biggest heaviest heart that we announce Signorelli's Deli and Il Mercato by Signorelli's has closed its doors permanently!

Myself and the team would like to thank all of our loyal customers and friends for your support over the last 8 years!!

We had some fun and we had some lows but you all including the team made Signorelli’s deli more than I ever wanted! For that I say Grazie!!

Unfortunately the external pressure and the relationship with the new owners of the Grafton had made daily operations too hard to carry on operating.

If you're missing our tasty Italian pizzas already, then please visit our friends Salvatore La Piazza By Signorelli's and Roberto and his family @ Signorelli’s at Marleigh will welcome you with open arms and hopefully show you the same smile and happiness that myself and the team tried so hard to create at Signorellis deli.

But from Alex and the team of Signorelli’s Deli, it's very sad Ciao.
