Holy smokes, our next event is just around the corner!

Join us next Tuesday (14th July) for the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of wonky_kitchens joining our pub family! We will have our outside bar open with Siren Craft Brew taking over, live music, a BBQ and more! With the sun looking like it’ll be making an appearance on the 14th , you certainly won’t want to miss this!!🍻🔥

For those who have visited us as of recent, you’ll notice that we’ve been having building work in our garden! However, in just a short while, we will have even more ladies toilets to accommodate our fantastic customers who come to visit us!

We wanted to take the opportunity to show off our garden in its full glory now that the work is mostly complete, with pretty flowers, radiating greenery and of course, a HUGE capacity! For those who come to visit, the garden is open, don’t be put off by the works going on!

Saturday afternoons are a socially acceptable time (as is any other time) to come down, sink some drink and enjoy food from our friends at wonky_kitchens - what are you waiting for? We are open from 12noon!🍻🌴

Our lineup of ale just keeps getting more epic!

Strangers’ Blonde, an 8% Belgian style blonde that’s full in life and body, with smells of orange and zest, a strong finish that certainly doesn’t taste of the ABV that is shown, (drink responsibly)!

Fun fact about this one:
The beer is a cross channel collaboration between Grain Brewery , , Tindall Brewery , Adept and De Coureur and the recipe for this was designed over WhatsApp!🍻🌴

Weather permitting, wonky_kitchens are now turning up the heat on their Sunday lunches, swapping roasts for BBQ’s! From meat to veggie/vegan options, there’s something for everyone to sink their teeth into!

We’re also boasting a fantastic selection of cask and keg beer at the bar too, from DEYA Brewery and on keg, to and Thornbridge Brewery on cask! Dark beer, Milds, pales, IPA’s, we’ve got you!🍻🔥

Oh do we have a treat for you!

Three interesting beers on, allow us to give you a run down:

Märzen Lager, malty, crisp, rich, as all should be!
Kasteelbier by Vanhonsebrouck Tropical, fruit juice in a glass at 7%ABV? We won’t tell anyone if you have a half or three!
Stiegl UK Grapefruit Radler, fresh, pleasant and tangy - an easy beer at 2% to sink plenty of for simple summer evening refreshment!

We can’t drink these ourselves, our landlord wouldn’t like that! Get yourself down here, sink a pint or more with us and catch those evening rays!🍻🌴

The outside bar is open, the sun is out, treat yourself to a glass of Tanqueray Gin and tonic in our fabulous beer garden - we’ve even sorted out some fancy new glasses to help you enjoy your tipple in style!

Gin not tickling your fancy? No problem, we’ve got you covered! Pouring outside this weekend is the Pale Ale, their new Marzen Lager, and of course the famous Kasteelbier by Vanhonsebrouck Tropical! Aperol Spritz UK also available!! 🌴🍻

Fancy braving the tropical weather and indulging in a tropical pint? We’ve got you!

Currently pouring is the Tropical Breeze by Buntingford Brewery ! Citrusy, light bodied and full of flavour, the tropical flavours are bound to feel like a summer party on the taste buds!

Did we mention on the 23rd July we have Bunt Brew Crew joining us from 4pm for an outdoor bar, live music and wonky_kitchens cooking up a storm? No? This will feature as one of our big events as part of the CB1 Beer Quarter (20/07 - 02/08) so join us for fun in paradise!🌴🍻

On the flip end of yesterday’s post, showing off another beer is the cask ale: Top Lock (Langton Brewery Crafting Great Ales in Market Harborough)!

A firm favourite of another member of staff at The Blue, this session Golden Ale is light bodied, smooth and citrusy with a slightly bitter finish - a perfect thirst quencher to enjoy in our beer garden whilst the sun is out!
