Last week, we had the honour of receiving a very special award from acirealesocial_official in Sicily.
The Aci e Galatea Award is a prestigious historic Sicilian award that recognises outstanding individuals from the local community who have carried the spirit of our beautiful island beyond its shores, proudly sharing the traditions, flavours and entrepreneurial heritage of Sicily with the world.
We are incredibly honoured that this recognition was presented to our co-founder, Salvatore Cipriani, whose journey began in our family’s sister café in Acireale before bringing his passion for authentic Sicilian food abroad alongside our fellow co-founders, Alessandra, Ofelia and Francesco. Together, they have built something truly special, sharing the authentic flavours and warm hospitality of Sicily with our communities every day.
Receiving this award means so much to us. What began as a passion for authentic Sicilian food and hospitality has grown into something we could only have dreamed of. Every dish we serve, every coffee we pour and every guest we welcome is inspired by the traditions and values we brought with us from Sicily.
This recognition is a celebration of the passion, dedication and hard work of our entire team, whose commitment allows us to share a little piece of Sicily with our communities every single day.
