IDEAL DAY × THE BLUE MOON × CARMEN’S 🍺🍕

Ideal Day are taking over the taps at The Blue Moon, so obviously we decided to get involved the only way we know how… with pizza.

We just thought it would be fun!

So, we’ve paired some of the Ideal Day b**rs pouring during the tap takeover with Carmen’s pizzas (and Golden Bites) to create our own little b**r + pizza pairing guide.

ONE MONTH OF CARMEN’S!!! 🍕

A whole month of pizzas, chaos, flour absolutely everywhere, busy services, new faces becoming regulars and somehow… we’ve made it through our first month!

First of all, a massive thank you to The Blue Moon for giving Carmen’s a home, believing in what we’re doing and supporting us from day one. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better place to start this little adventure.

To everyone who’s ordered a pizza, told a friend about us, shared a post, left us a lovely review, came back for round two (or three), or simply said something nice about Carmen’s.
THANK YOU. It genuinely means so much to us.

And of course, a huge thank you to our little Carmen’s team for all the hard work, patience, laughs and for surviving the chaos with me.

Special mention to Josh, who isn’t in the pictures because he conveniently decided to take the day off on photoshoot day. Excellent timing….

Carmen’s was created with a lot of love, a lot of memories, a bit of chaos and plenty of sassiness, and seeing people actually enjoying what we’re building means more to me than you know.

One month down. Many, many more pizzas to go.

Carmen’s is heading to The Warehouse Birthday Bash x Plaza Fundraiser on Saturday 12th September, and we’ll be firing up pizzas from 12–8pm.

And considering Carmen’s staff is basically 50% pizza makers, 50% Cambridge skaters, it would’ve been a bit rude not to show up 🛹🍕

Expect live music, DJ sets, drinks, a raffle, lots of lovely people and, most importantly (we’re definitely not biased), fresh Carmen’s pizza all day.

Even better, it’s all for a good cause helping to raise money towards the £10,000 goal to renovate Donkey Common skatepark.

Come hungry, eat a whole pizza (we don’t judge), have a drink and support the fundraiser.

Warning:Lilium has a habit of becoming people’s “I’ll just have one slice” pizza… and then suddenly there’s none left.

Sweet caramelised onions, creamy Parmesan, roasted pumpkin seeds, and enough charm to steal the spotlight.

She’s named after my grandma Lily, because some recipes deserve to carry the names of the people who inspired them.

It’s finally happening!!

After months of planning, tasting, changing ideas (and eating a lot of pizza), we’re getting ready to open Carmen’s.

We’ve still got a few weeks to go, but we couldn’t wait any longer to share it with you.

We’ll be opening on 1st August at the best pub!!! and we honestly can’t wait for you to try what we’ve been working on.
