At Lowcarbeau we use ceramic crockery, glasses and stainless steel cutlery that can be washed and re-used. All our takeaway packaging is either wooden or compostable. It is high time that single use plastic was banned! The alternatives are affordable, it just needs a groundswell of support to make it happen.

We are looking for Customer Service Assistants/Baristas to work in our exciting new business concept.
You will deliver a high-quality menu, great coffee and beverages and excellent customer service. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high quality, food safety and cleanliness. Experience in both front and back of the house would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.
Training will include how to use state of the art ovens in order to cook food and serve customers.
Ultimately, you will be part of a great team ensuring our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dine-in or takeaway experiences.

Responsibilities

- Front of the House and Back of the House working as required
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
- Help promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
- Be reliable, diligent and fun to work with.

Skills

- Proven customer service experience
- Good attendance record
- Ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers
- Familiarity with restaurant Point of Sale software
- Hospitality experience or culinary schooling is a plus
