This post is overdue but we wouldn’t go without it. 😍
We arrived in Portsmouth ten days ago hoping to compete. We left inspired.
Four days, hundreds of portions of poutine, sell-out service, and countless conversations we’ll be talking about for a long time.

A huge thank you to the team behind the British Street Food Awards and . During one of the hottest weekends of the year, they somehow managed to keep everything running smoothly while making sure traders were looked after every step of the way.

What we’ll remember most, though, is the people.

We came away with new friends, new ideas, renewed motivation and a lot of hope for the future. Congratulations to everyone who took part. We were honoured to share Gunwharf Quays with you, especially

And to everyone who queued, voted, followed along, or tried our poutine for the first time — thank you. Your support means the world.

We didn’t leave with a trophy, but we left with memories, friendships and a renewed belief in what we’re building.

This feels much more like a see you later than a goodbye.

And if you’ve been around Papas Locas for a while, you’ll know what that means...

It’s one of our busiest times of the year, and this year we’re bringing the Papas Locas horsebox into the mix as well, which means more events, more locations, and more chances to get your poutine fix.
