We’re so very sorry we were hoping to be in tomorrow but Scott needs a little longer to recover. He’s not up to making the delicious coffee you love. Thanks for all the lovely messages, he is on the mend. I promise.

❤️ A LITTLE UPDATE FROM MARKET SQUARE COFFEE & CAKE ❤️

We won’t be trading on Friday 14th & Saturday 15th August this weekend.

Scott is recovering from an operation and needs a little time to rest and recover. ❤️

We’re sorry to miss you this weekend, but we’ll be back as soon as we can!

☀️ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ☀️

After a very serious meeting (with myself), I’ve decided to enforce Clare’s Law…

📜 No one should have to work when it’s 32°C or above. Especially women of a certain age. 😅🔥

Sadly, tomorrow’s forecast has officially broken Clare’s Law, so Market Square Coffee & Cake will be CLOSED tomorrow (Friday 10th).

We’re so sorry if we disappoint anyone, but we’ll be back bright and early on Saturday with fresh coffee, banana bread, brownies and all your favourite cakes.

Thank you for understanding, and remember… if anyone asks, Clare’s Law is completely legitimate. 😉

After today’s market… Clare has officially melted! 🫠🔥

So, we’ve made the decision not to attend tomorrow’s market. (27th July) Clare needs a day to cool down, rehydrate and turn back into a functioning human! 😂

💨 It’s a bit wild out there today, but we’re here in our usual spot and everything is set up as normal.
