PRE-ORDER YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE NOW 🎄

Yes, we know it’s early! However, selecting the best-quality trees from the field and arranging their harvest takes time.

Pre-ordering gives us an early indication of demand, helping us secure a plentiful supply of fresh, beautifully shaped trees. It is particularly important if you’re looking for one of the larger sizes, as availability can be limited.

Trees can be pre-ordered through our website and usually become available for collection from around 20th November.

Alongside our updated autumn menu, this weekend’s specials include:

• Scallops with pea purée, lemon and caper butter, and pancetta crisps
• Beef carpaccio with pickled fennel, red onion and Parmesan mayonnaise
• Seared and roasted tomahawk steak with skin-on fries and all the trimmings

AUTUMN & WINTER EVENINGS AT THE BISTRO 🍂

Our new seasonal evening menu has arrived, bringing together comforting autumn flavours, indulgent small plates and hearty main dishes.

Share crispy duck strips, salt and pepper squid or slow-cooked chorizo before choosing from dishes including Cornish crab and crayfish linguine, brie and cranberry stuffed chicken, pan-seared catch of the day and our beef and bacon burger.

Save room for something sweet too — perhaps pear and blackberry crumble or homemade chocolate crème brûlée with Cointreau.

The Bistro is open on Friday and Saturday evenings, with food served from 5pm until 8pm. Booking is highly recommended.

We’re looking for a Commis Chef to join our thriving team and support our head chef, Rob.
This is a great role for someone who loves food, wants to learn, and enjoys being part of a friendly, supportive workplace. You’ll help with food prep and cooking, and because we’re a small team, you may also jump in front‑of‑house to take orders, use the tills, or make drinks.
Hours are designed with balance in mind — just a few evenings each week (we close around 10pm) plus weekend shifts. Ideal for anyone who wants to grow their skills and keep a healthy work/life rhythm.
We’re looking for someone who’s keen to learn, happy to get stuck in, and enjoys working with people. With a career path towards a Chef de Partie, this would suit someone with ambition.

The first of our autumn range has also arrived, including spring-flowering bulbs, colourful heathers and cyclamen—perfect for bringing fresh seasonal colour to pots, borders and doorsteps.
