The New Diwan-ee-khas Indian restaurant has for several generations been a staple in the three counties area for exquisite fine dining with a reputation second to none. Times change and as most of you will no doubt know, we have moved on. But before we close this page we want to make an announcement. We want to tell you about Tandoori Treats, a new and exciting Indian restaurant, located in the same well known location on the A30 London Road between Camberley and Blackwater.
Tandoori Treats offers modern Indian cuisine with a distinct "street food" twist. The menu is exciting, offering flavoursome dishes such as Duck Chettinad, Monkfish Moilee and Railway Lamb Curry. The latter being a very tasty colonial Anglo-Indian recipe served on the long distance Blue Train between Calcutta and Bombay. This spicy yet delicate dish was only served in railway refreshment rooms and first class cabins.
