I will be taking the remainder of the weekend off, but I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for supporting my little café. Despite the carnival being canceled, it was still an amazing day at the café, and your presence meant the world to us as you came out to support Calne and all the other business and activities happening around us.

Today, I received some heartbreaking news: Vanda Walker , our incredible cake baker, has passed away. We at the café are all deeply saddened by this loss. Vanda was a wonderful person who touched the lives of so many people, and she will be greatly missed by all of us. Our thoughts are with her family during this difficult time. 😢😢❤️
