Well… we survived week ONE! 🥹🌿✨

And honestly, we’re a little bit overwhelmed (in the best possible way) by how lovely you’ve all been.

From the very first customers through the door to the lovely messages, recommendations, kind words and familiar faces coming back again already… thank you. 🥹✨

Opening The Lazy Grazer has been a huge leap of faith, and seeing it become a little part of the community already means more than you probably realise. 🌿

We’re back Monday morning from 8am ☕️

And from 11am, the Graze Bar gets its first menu change, so there’ll be some new goodies waiting for you! 👀🧀🍓

But first - it’s DUCK RACE DAY! 🦆💦

If you’re looking for something free and fun to do today, head down to Great Yarmouth Waterways from 1pm and cheer on all the ducks sponsored by local businesses.

Our little Lazy Grazer duck will be in the race too… so obviously we’re expecting Olympic-level performance. 😂🦆🏆

The wait is almost over… Toucan Toys is opening its doors! 🎉

After months of planning, decorating, unpacking, and pouring our hearts into every little detail, we’re so excited to finally welcome you to our nest.

Whether you’re looking for the latest trending toys, squishies, preschool favourites, pocket-money treats or the perfect gift, we’ve worked tirelessly to create a toy shop with something for everyone.

This isn’t just the opening of a toy shop, it’s the beginning of a community. We hope Toucan Toys becomes a place where families love to visit, children get excited to explore, and everyone feels welcome.

WHAT. A. WEEK. 🥹☕️🎨

Our first week at The Lazy Grazer Café has honestly been more amazing than we could have imagined.

From the lovely faces who have walked through our doors, to the kind messages, amazing feedback, gorgeous photos and all the support you’ve shown our little coffee shop - THANK YOU. 🥹❤️

We’ve poured our hearts into creating somewhere a little bit different, and seeing you enjoying it, bringing your little ones along, getting creative, catching up with friends and simply making yourselves at home has meant SO much to us.

We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better first week. 🫶🏼

We’re open tomorrow 9am–1pm for your Saturday coffee, cake & creative fix!

We’ll have a limited grazing selection and limited cake supply tomorrow while we catch our breath after our first crazy week — so if you’ve got your eye on something, don’t leave it too late! 👀🍰

Wow!! 🤩 An incredible first four days where we completely SOLD OUT of cake!!

Lucky for us Chloe’s cakes and more is so local that she kindly went out of her way to restock the cabinet today!

But we aren’t surprised …. They are absolutely DELICIOUS 😋🩷✨

So we will see you bright and early, with a full cake counter 🌿✨

🚨 IMPORTANT DUCK NEWS 🚨🦆💦

Our little Lazy Grazer duck has officially passed his FLOAT TEST… and he is READY TO RACE! 🏁😂

He’s been practising his paddling, checking his buoyancy and getting himself race-day ready 🦆🏆🌿

Come and cheer him (and all the other ducks!) on at the Rotary Club Duck Race this Sunday at 1PM!

Because sometimes you just want to sit down, drink your coffee while it’s still hot, and actually finish a conversation. 😂☕️

We all know how difficult a coffee shop trip can be with little ones. You’re trying to catch up, enjoy a cake and have five minutes of adult conversation… while simultaneously preventing someone from climbing under the table, emptying the sugar pot or asking “are we going yet?” every 30 seconds. 😂

But thank god we aren’t a normal coffee shop. 🎨✨

Meet The Little Artist set… our art rental trays designed especially for little creative minds.

For just £5, your little one gets their own tray packed with creative activities to keep those busy hands entertained while you get to enjoy your coffee, your cake and your catch-up. 🤍

And honestly, the feedback from parents has meant EVERYTHING to us.

We’ve been told it’s the first time they’ve been to a coffee shop and not felt like their child was a nuisance. We’ve been informed by one mum that it’s the first time she’s been able to drink a coffee in peace at a public place!

THAT is exactly why we created them. 🥹

Because children aren’t a nuisance. They’re just children. And parents deserve spaces where they can bring them, let them be little, and still enjoy themselves too. 🫶
