🧸Today's the day, the Teddy Bears have their Picnic.🧸

I know it's a bit last minute, but the weather looks great tomorrow
MONDAY 10TH AUGUST. 11:30ish to 1:00ish

Bring your favourite Bear, Flora, Lumpy, Pink Rabbit, Bash, Martha, Reggi T, Frog, Tigger, and all of your cuddliest friends to Lock 10 to enjoy a Teddy Bears Picnic.

Every Child will get a plate of little cakes to share with their Teddy.

Please share with all the small people and their parents.

Tinned Rhubarb?
There were several Rhubarb crowns in this garden, when we moved in, but in 3 years, they didn't grow any bigger than my hand, At the end of last year, I repurposed some of the potato bed. And they have just kept growing. I will be spreading them out and taking over the entire Veg garden next year.

The tin of Rhubarb, I picked this evening, Will probably last about 2 weeks, at the rate you all eat Rhubarb and Custard Cake.

If you have any garden excess, no matter what it is, I will always exchange it for Coffee and cake. I hate seeing things go to waste, and I love to barter.

Felicity the Flamingo has been trying to keep cool under the Silver Birch.

We will be open at Lock 10 on the Crinan Canal,
Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon. 9ish to 5ish.

Hot & Cold Drinks, Iced Coffees, Ice Creams, Salad Boxes, Homemade Focaccia open Sandwiches, Delicious Home baking.

We have been really busy baking, and will be sending loads of delicious bakes, to Kilchoan Melfort Trust , who are hosting their Scotland's Gardens Scheme open weekend, from 10ish to 5ish, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July. The Gardens are absolutely stunning, and well worth a visit. I can guarantee Cake and Ice Cream, when you get there.

4 Things that have made me immensely happy, this weekend. Not only have they brought a smile to my face but also made me realise how lucky I am.

1. Fabulous new Stables/benches for the horses/customers. A massive thank you to the CrinanCanal team for keeping the grass cut, and this weekend the Dunadry team has worked their socks off, in this abnormal Scottish heat.

2. My brilliant team. James King-Venables and , who have worked inside Polly, maximum temperature was 46°C.

3. All you amazing customers, who continue to come to the windiest place in Britain, and continue to tell your friends, family, house guests, and self catering guests about us. Thank you.

4. Ice Cream & Sorbet, from Stewart Tower Dairy It is absolutely delicious. Considering our freezer only holds 4 tubs of ice cream, You have definitely eaten a bit more than that. James has been going backwards and forwards to ensure it's been kept topped up, throughout the days.
