We have a delicious range of seasonally-inspired specials and regularly arrange family-orientated Early-Bird dining events with sharing-boards and Artisan Pizza as the particular favourites of our customers. We also welcome exclusive hire for parties, networking or charity events on selected evenings. We regularly respond to special calendar dates with buzzing events and offerings dovetailing with
particular themes such as International Women's Day, Valentine's Day, Shrove Tuesday or national saints days, for example, as well as devising special menus around well-known notable dates such as Mother's and Father's Day, Easter and Christmas. Many of our suppliers are small businesses like ourselves and we believe in the philosophy of shop-local where possible. Our award-winning coffee even tells a local story which you are welcome to ask us about when you visit! We opened in September 2014 and our restaurant was lovingly brought back to the authentic state it existed in many years ago when it was a traditional local pub. We are now proud to offer a relaxed, modern and shabby-chic eating venue with interior decoration and furnishings that are mostly reclaimed from local sources. Owner and chef Emma Evans has grown up in the food industry and many of her creations come from recipes that have been handed down through the generations of her family and re-worked into a more contemporary feel for a modern audience.
