With it set to be another warm weekend, we’re ready to help you stay cool in this weather and provide a much needed hydration break! 🥵💦

Our below ground cellar helps keep our beer as cold as can be - then a beverage served in an ice cold glass can really help you beat the heat! That pint of Thatchers Fusion is calling your name! 🥶

Perhaps you don’t fancy a draught? Well in the fridge we’ve got bottles of Budweiser and Mythos, as well as WKD Blue - £3 each or two for £5, and you can mix and match as you fancy. Then we also have bottles of Kopperberg in two refreshing flavours - Strawberry and Lime, and Mixed Fruits, at just £4 each or two for £7! 🤤🤤

Maybe you’d prefer something non-alcoholic? We’ve got Guinness Zero, Thatchers Zero and San Miguel Zero, all chilling in the fridge ready for you!

Also the internet is finally in place as of yesterday!

There’s loads more on offer, and in a weekend packed with football and rugby, why not give The Bell a try and start your weekend off right! 🥳

Great first week back in The Bell!

Our soft launch has been off to a great start, and the work towards a full reopening is making good strides. It’s been great to see so many faces back in The Bell - both new and old!

The community really came together to save the pub and it’s been great seeing it get so much support. Soon enough we’ll have pool and darts ongoing, and our Sunday night quiz is back as normal!

We’ve also been approached by several social clubs looking to host their meet ups here, so if you’re looking for a place to gather, we’re well equipped for it - we have two rooms with plenty of seats, and our goal is to become a real community hub. We’re also looking for suggestions and feedback for what you’d like to see in The Bell!

The quiz is a 40 question format and is only £1 to enter. If you’re looking for an excuse to leave the house, want to test your knowledge, or meet some new people, why not come down and give it a try?

This photo was taken during the last Sunday quiz, back when we thought The Bell would be closing permanently. A difficult moment, as some of these people had been calling for the quiz for more than 30 years!

However, this Sunday we are pleased to say the quiz will be back home in The Bell.

Great to see The Bell so busy yesterday for our opening day! Think it’s fair to say people were impressed with the work carried out so far, and great to know the beer is still as good as ever!

Today we get to open the doors and welcome you back to our village pub!

After not being open since the end of April, today is our soft launch so that you can get back in The Bell, catch up with people you haven’t seen in a while, and get a sneak peak at the work that’s been done!

Today we are opening the lounge as the bar is still undergoing work - but it’s not far off completion. We are asking that customers enter via the front door as the back shall remain locked to prevent entry. The car park is still available for customers to use however.

The beer is cold, the fridge is full - we can’t wait to see you! Doors open at 3pm.

After lots of hard work behind the scenes (even in this heat 🥵), we are pleased to announce that The Bell will reopen July the 1st at 3pm.

This will be a soft open as work is currently ongoing and there are still finishing touches to be made, but in all honesty we can’t wait to welcome you all back and catch up with everyone who has been missing the place!

Here’s to a nice cold pint in our village pub - we hope you’re as excited as we are!
