OldByreSkye photographic gallery and cafe is in the township of Ose on the Isle of Skye. The gallery exhibits original photographic images of the Isle of Skye and surrounding area taken by Neil Hough, with an additional selection from the polar regions. So here is the first list of items for sale from the Gallery. Most things are on the photographs, the rest will be added tomorrow. Current list prices are mostly taken from Nisbets and you can look up anything that doesn't have an image in their catalogue.

So, to make it official, OldByreSkye Gallery and Cafe is now closed, after about 10 and a half years. This week also marks the last guests in the Apartment. Unfortunately age and decrepitude are catching up with us and we need to be doing other things.

I will shortly be posting both here and on the local pages a list of items for sale from the cafe, from a commercial four burner gas range right down to teaspoons! If you think you might be interested in anything, pm me.

Sunday - 3 December. Sorry, but we won't be open today. The forecast has it struggling to get above freezing tomorrow and even after a dry day and having put salt down, its still icy around the property so we don't consider it safe enough for customers.

Sunday 26 November. 11:00 - 16:00. Soup - Cock-a-Leekie: traditional Scottish fayre. Usual Highland Charcuterie and Highland Cheese Platters available as well as filled rolls with Highland produced smoked chicken, beef, venison salami, smoked salmon, and cheese. Cake including a fresh vegan chocolate and orange fudge cake. Cold, dry, sunny intervals. Fionn is bound to be out and about....

Thursday 2 November. 11:00 - 16:00. Soup - Cock-a-Leekie: traditional Scottish fayre. Usual Highland Charcuterie and Highland Cheese Platters available as well as filled rolls with Highland produced smoked chicken, beef, venison salami, smoked salmon, and cheese. Cakes and a fresh batch of plain scones as well as the cheese and garlic ones. Locally roast coffees, at the moment we have coffee from Kenya, Ethiopia, Brazil, Bolivia and decaf from Colombia. Teas and other drinks. Sunny intervals, moderate breeze, cool. Fionn the White will be breezing in and out - she's cool too...
