Meet the engine room. ☕🔥

These two Probats do the heavy lifting at Buxton Coffee Roasters. Every batch is roasted by hand, here in the Peak District, from beans we source from growers around the world. We roast small, roast often, and send it out fresh to cafés, restaurants and coffee lovers near and far.

From Costa Rica Tarrazu to our Five Cloud house blend, it all starts in this room.

Running a café or restaurant? We offer wholesale accounts and barista training for trade customers. Link in bio. 👆

📢 WE’RE CLOSED THIS TUESDAY, 13TH OCTOBER 📢

We’re taking a day to get a few maintenance jobs done before rounding off a fantastic summer with a well-deserved staff party! 🍻

It’s also our chance to celebrate winning Pub of the Year 🏆 — something the whole team has worked incredibly hard for, and we couldn’t be prouder of them.

A big thank you to all our staff for their hard work over the summer, and to all of you who have supported us along the way. ❤️

We’ll be back open as normal on Wednesday 14th October, ready to welcome you all back!

Thanks for your understanding, and see you soon at The Royal Oak! 🌳🍻

WE’RE FINALISTS!
Self Catering Accommodation of the Year 2026/2027

Well, this has certainly made our Monday!

We’re absolutely over the moon to share that Muse Escapes has been named a finalist in the Self Catering Accommodation of the Year category at the Visit East Midlands Tourism Awards for Derbyshire!

From opening Foxlow Grange in 2022 to becoming an award-winning, five-star destination, what a journey it’s been.

This recognition means so much to us as a small, family-run business. Behind every beautiful apartment is a lot of hard work, dedication and a team who genuinely care about creating wonderful guest experiences.

A huge thank you to our amazing team and every guest who has supported us along the way.

We’re so proud to represent Buxton and the beautiful Peak District.

Now, let’s see what happens at the awards!
