A Little Coffee Machine Apology ☕️💔

We’re so sorry, lovely customers! Our poor coffee machine has decided it needs a little rest and is unfortunately poorly. 😢☕️

We’ve done everything we can, but sadly our engineer can’t get to us until Monday morning, which means our proper coffee service will be out of action until then.

We know how much you love your coffees, and we’re genuinely so sorry for the disappointment. 💕 We promise we’re just as frustrated as you are!

The good news is that our little coffee machine should hopefully be back fighting fit first thing Monday morning! 🙏☕️

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and continued support. We really do appreciate every single one of you. 🫖❤️

Hasn’t it been a lovely summer? Although, we’re sure our gardens would disagree! 😂🌿

Our Tea Junction garden is looking a little dry, but we’ve been doing our very best to keep our beautiful flowers as hydrated and happy as possible. 🌺🌹🪴

There’s nothing better than enjoying a lovely coffee, homemade cake or a scoop of ice cream in the sunshine, surrounded by our garden. 🍰☕️🍦

One of our favourites has to be our incredible sausages from Manifold Valley Meats — award-winning, locally made and absolutely delicious! 🏆

We love knowing exactly where our food comes from and supporting the fantastic local businesses and producers right on our doorstep here in the Manifold Valley.

It’s local produce, made by people who care, and served with a whole lot of love. ❤️

🚧 Road Closure Update 🚧

We’d just like to reassure all of our customers that we are OPEN as normal!

Unfortunately, we’ve been made aware that people are being told from several directions that there is no access to the pub and tearoom. This isn’t the case.

✅ There is access via Alstonefield, and you can still reach us.

We were assured that these roadworks would not affect our business, so we’re disappointed that customers are being turned away unnecessarily.

We’ve also been informed that all work is due to be completed by 6:00pm this evening.

Thank you for your patience and continued support. We really appreciate it, and we look forward to welcoming you for coffee, cake, lunch or a drink as usual! ☕🍰🍻

The Manifold Valley is looking absolutely stunning this morning, with the mist slowly lifting and the sunshine breaking through. It’s days like these that remind us just how lucky we are to call this place home.

Whether you’re heading out for a walk, cycling the trail, or simply fancy escaping the hustle and bustle for an hour, we’d love to welcome you.

What a stunning village we have the joy to live in. 🌳🌿🪵

Summer mornings start so quietly in the Peak District countryside. The day breathes into life with soft colours and gentle light, as if even the dawn doesn't want to break the peace. The villages sleep, the sheep doze in the fields, only the hares are out - and me with my camera.

💛 A Little Update From Us 💛

We’ve done everything we can to avoid increasing our prices, but with the continued rise in the cost of ingredients, coffee, utilities and wages, we’ve had to make a few small changes to our menu.

I have tried to absorb a lot of the rises myself but I literally can’t anymore, and I am sorry. 🥹

We know every penny counts, and we’ve worked hard to keep these increases as modest as possible while continuing to serve the homemade food, quality coffee and friendly service you expect from us.

We remain committed to using good ingredients, preparing food fresh every day, and offering generous portions and great value.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. Every visit, every coffee and every slice of cake helps support our small independent business, and we genuinely appreciate every one of you.
