We don't serve food but we don't mind you bringing in your own or ordering a takeaway 😉 We do not sell food but have a range of menus from local takeaways if you get hungry!

NO BACK SMOKING AREAS WILL BE OPEN TOMORROW NIGHT UNTIL MAIN DOORS ARE SHUT. AND ONLY ONE AREA WILL BE OPEN. EVERYTHING WILL GO BACK TO NORMAL ONCE FINAL WHISTLE IS CALLED. WORLD CUP TOMORROW! BACK DOORS WILL BE CLOSED FROMT DOOR ENTRY ONLY UPTO 7PM. WRISTBANDS CAN BE PRUCHASED AT THE BAR. ONE SMOKING AREA TO BE OPEN ONCE FRONT DOOR IS SHUT. THIS WILL BE MANNED NO ENTRY UNLESS PREAPPROVED BY MYSELF ( THE LANDLADY) WRISTBANDS ARE £2 EACH. ALL MONIES FROM THESE BANDS WILL GO TO STAFF THAT WORKED TILL 5AM AND SATURDAY THROUGH ALL THE DRAMA. A LUTTLE APPRECIATION GOES ALONG WAY AND THESE STAFF DESERVE IT. PLEASE ENSURE YOU PURCHASE A BAND BEFORE 7PM. THANKYOU FOR YOUR CO OPERATION AND CONTINUED SUPPORT

UPDATE FOR SEMI FINAL THIS WERNESDAY. doors will open 3pm. The back doors will be shut until 7pm. Anyone wanting a cigarette will need to go on the front and use ash trays provided. You will also need to purchase a wrist band on entry these are £2 each cash only. Anyone without a wristband after 7pm will be asked to leave as this means you have managed to sneak in . Proceeds will go to staff that have worked the match days these have been very hard shifts for all involved. Especially the 5am finish match and Saturday ( particularly terrifying). Thankyou for your cooperation and continued support of the blazing rag ❤️❤️

Wednesdays match will be shown at the rag at 8pm doors will close at 7pm. Wrist bands will be given from entry before 7pm. Anyone without a wristband after 7pm will be asked to leave and will NOT!! be served Anyone caught on camera scaling the wall or letting anyone in through the back gate will also be asked to leave. Due to lastnights events there will only be one smoking area available. due to people disrespectfully climbing walls and people already in sneakily letting others in 😡😡. Thankyou for your understanding. Also anyone under 18 will not be allowed in after 7pm when doors close. We will also take this opportunity to say thursday we will be CLOSED due to needing a thorough deep clean and some much needed selfish time to ourselves. Open again friday at 3pm. Due to recent events and a complaint. Anyone under the age of 18 will not be allowed in the pub after 9pm. As you know we are strict with our policy of under age drinking. So I will say this once more anyone that looks under 25 will be asked for id if you can not produce it you WILL NOT BE SERVED!!! . This also means that adults are not to purchase alcohol for anyone under age.anyone caught doing this will be asked to leave and barred 👍. This also applies to anyone caught bringing in their own alcohol. Thankyou for your understanding ❤️

CARNIVAL DAY!!!! as we all know carnival day for Buxton is majorly busy time of year and this year we also have the world cup on the same day. We have a dj on from 4pm till 8pm 🤗Taking everything into consideration the Rag doors and gates will be shut from 8.30pm. If you are wanting to watch the match at The Rag please be in the pub before 8.30pm.There will be no exceptions after this time. There will also be people manning the gates and cameras.
Anyone attempting to try and sneak anyone in through back gates will be asked to leave. This is all due to croud control. Also I polity ask that no one shouts and bangs in the outer yards. This is out of respect for our neighbours. Thankyou for your understanding and co operation. And thankyou for the continued support ❤️
