Afternoon all....today we officially sold the shop so that's it😢....we are still travelling around in our camper and loving life so it's all good....I will be shutting down this page next week but if anybody wants to follow our travels then look up Gordon Harvey Taylor where our travels are posted..

Well today was a very sad day indeed....the End of an era and of wood street chippy😢😢
This will be the last post from us but we'd just like to thank all our customers over the years and we're truly sorry that it's closed for good.

I'm posting this with a little sadness and a lot of excitement....
We are retiring from the chippy this week....
our last service will be Friday tea time on the 28th..
we'll be open as usual this week but after Friday the chippy will be closed...
We are in talks with a couple of folks as to buying the place so hopefully the shop won't be closed for to long..
This shop has been our life for the last 20 years and we've had some absolutely amazing customers and made some friends for life but the time has come to move on to new adventures..
We would just like to THANK you all for the custom over the years and we hope you welcome any new owner who ever they turn out to be with the same generosity and warmth you've all shown us ❤️ ❤️

Good evening folks... I just thought I'd let you all know that the sale of the shop has fallen through 😔 which is very disappointing to say the least... so...we still have a few irons in the fire so to speak including looking into leasing/renting... so if leasing is something that might interest you then dm me for more details..

Good afternoon all....just an update on the future of wood street....the chippy will NOT be closing... it looks like we have a buyer that should be taking over in the next month or so and will be in with us training for the next few weeks so please be welcoming and patient
