Porthilly, on the Camel estuary has some of the best shellfish we have ever had, so paying homage to that you will start with a freshly shucked oyster with a shallot and red w**e vinegar dressing - We may have had a couple dozen ourselves.

The cafe on our campsite served delicious crispy fried soft shell crabs in a soft bao with a Sriracha mayo and crunchy slaw.

One of our all time favourite dishes, a little pintxos bar on the back streets of Fowey. A tin of the most delicious sardines, with Spanish tomato bread and aioli. Simple but fantastic.

After a long walk from Wadebridge to Padstow and a ferry over the water. We were suitably starving. We sat down, and the couple on the next table said they had visited twice already to have the lobster pasta. So we had it have it too...

The Mariners is a proper Rock institution. We couldn't serve a full blown fish and chips for you as much as we want to. But this starter we had off the specials was just as yummy!

A beachside rum bar across the bay from our campsite called our names a few nights. Tiff wanted a Pina Colada, they didn't do one, but they did their own take. It was boozier and more grown up. So our pudding version will be; Grilled pineapple, rum sponge, coconut ice cream, and a rum and pineapple syrup.
