In Loving Memory of Maria ❤️

With great sadness, we remember our beloved Maria. She was a former colleague here at Cheers, where she was dearly loved and an important part of our family. She later left us to pursue her career at the university, and we couldn’t have been prouder of her achievements and the path she chose.

Maria was truly unique — a wonderful young lady with a strong mind and a determined spirit that inspired everyone who knew her. She didn’t just live life; she lived every moment with such intensity and passion, giving her all to everything she did. During her time with us, she brought so much joy, kindness, and warmth to everyone around her. She had a wonderful laugh, a heart always ready to help. We will always treasure the happy memories, the long chats, and the laughter we shared together.

She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of courage, love, and determination. Our hearts are broken, but we are so grateful to have known her and to have had her as part of our team and our family. She has left a space that can never be filled, but her spirit, her energy, and her love will stay with us forever.

Rest peacefully, dear Maria. You will never be forgotten. You will be missed more than words can say, but you will live on in every memory, every smile, and every moment we share together.

Most people come for the hot stone (and honestly, we get it). But there's a whole menu beyond the sizzle — grilled salmon with new potatoes and veg, crispy chicken wings to start, seabass, king prawn tagliatelle, even halloumi on the stone if you want to cook your own without the meat.

Come with a group. Order completely different things. End up stealing from each other's plates anyway.

You've had the bread. You've worked through the prawns and the chouriço. The sangria's been topped up twice. And then it arrives — your own slab of searing hot stone, raw steak on the side, and you're in charge.

Sear it. Flip it. Load your plate with rice, black beans, chips, and frango. Go back for more. That's the deal — eat as much as you like.
