Just to let you know that today is the last day we’re open until the New Year, so please do pop in for a coffee and slice of cake or a light lunch. We’re open until 4pm this afternoon. Meantime, we’d like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Get in to the Christmas spirit and choose something from our festive menu. Freshly baked warm sausage rolls and mince pies. Light lunches include turkey filled rolls and Dot’s Christmas pudding with cream. Or relax with a cuppa and a slice of Rudolph’s favourite carrot cake. We’re open Tuesday’s to Sunday’s from 10am until 4pm.

A sunny but crisp Autumn morning. Liz and Isaac assure you a warm welcome if you’re in the Risby area today. We’re open between 10am and 4pm, serving fresh teas, coffees, homemade cakes and bakes, and light lunches to eat in or take away.

Just to give you a little advanced notice, we’ll be away for a few days enjoying a short break and so will be closed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week. We will be back open as usual this coming Friday between 10am and 4pm. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Our daily specials change on a regular basis. Here’s a delicious cheesecake laden with wild berries and a scoop of Dann’s vanilla ice cream that we served to hungry customers last week. You’re always sure of a warm welcome at Lizzy’s Cafe, so why not pop in and have a look at our specials board today, we’re open from 10am to 4pm.

For today only, we’ll be closing at 2pm so we can prepare for a private function. Lunches will be served between midday and 1.30pm. We apologise for any inconvenience, and will be reverting to our usual opening time of 10am - 4pm tomorrow. Thank you.

It’s a gorgeous sunny morning and it looks like we’re going to get some lovely Autumnal weather all week. Why not drop in and relax for a while with your friends and family? We serve a range of teas and coffees, as well as a selection of delicious cakes, scones and shortbread. We also serve light lunches from 12-2pm every day. Dogs are welcome too, and there’s always something on the menu for them! We look forward to seeing you soon.

HOG ROAST ON BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY. We’re firing up our hog roaster again this Bank Holiday Monday (30th). Come along from 12 noon and enjoy a relaxing lunch with us, or takeaway your boxes of Hoggy Heaven for a delicious picnic! We’ll serve you succulent slices of pork and crispy crackling in a bread roll together with a choice of salads and accompaniments. We can’t guarantee the Bank Holiday weather, but it’ll be roasting hot at Risby Barns. We look forward to welcoming you.

This Saturday (21st), we are hosting a barbecue event on our hog roaster. We will be barbecuing a selection of local sausages, pork ribs and beef burgers. Served with roast new potatoes, salads and accompaniments. Come and join us for lunch, or takeaway between Midday and 2pm, in the sunshine. ☀️😎🤞

Fancy a tasty roast this coming Saturday? We’ll be firing up our new gas roaster to cook delicious joints of Beef and Pork. We’ll serve your choice of roast meat in a fresh bread bun with a selection of salads and accompaniments. We also offer a range of hot and cold drinks, home baked cakes and ice creams.
