As we look forward to welcoming guests back to The Mulberry on 7th October, our Front of House learners recently took part in an insightful w**e training session delivered by Colombier Wines, our valued w**e supplier and local w**e merchant.

The session provided learners with an introduction to a range of w**es, exploring grape varieties, tasting techniques, food pairings, and the importance of confidently recommending w**es to customers. Learners developed their product knowledge and gained a greater understanding of how w**e service contributes to the overall guest experience.

A huge thank you to Colombier Wines for sharing their expertise and helping our learners build the confidence and skills needed to provide exceptional hospitality when we reopen.

This week, we were delighted to celebrate our longstanding international partnership with Jeonju Kijeon College by hosting a special South Korean hospitality evening.

Guests enjoyed a three-course dining experience inspired by Korean cuisine and hospitality, created through a collaboration between our catering and hospitality students and visiting professors from Jeonju Kijeon College.

The evening also showcased the ongoing success of the partnership and the positive impact it continues to have on students, staff, and the wider community.

This evening, our Level 2 and Level 3 Catering students had the fantastic opportunity to work alongside Head Chef James from the renowned local restaurant, The Dial.

Our learners prepared, cooked, and served a specially designed menu for our wonderful Mulberry customers, giving them the chance to showcase their skills while working to a new and exciting brief.

A huge thank you to James for sharing his expertise and supporting our students — we look forward to working together again soon!
