We are now on the new season of potatoes🤩

As of today the new potatoes have arrived and it’s safe to say it’s a customer favourite

With a much whiter, fluffier and all round better taste, its safe to say there’s no better time to enjoy our chips.

Unfortunately due to the weather, I have taken it upon myself to close for tomorrow all day (Thursday 25th June)

With the heat being even hotter than today and reaching way up into the 30 degrees mark, it’s too much for all of us to be at work in these conditions.

Aswell as this regarding the walk in fridge and freezers being opened regularly, the last thing I want is the temperature of them to drop below what’s needed.

Also, as it’s so hot we are quieter than usual, so all this taken into account this is the reason for my decision.
We hope you understand

We will be back open Friday as usual

Just a gentle reminder that we will be CLOSING AT 8PM TONIGHT in order for all staff to watch the England game 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

⚽️ World Cup fever is here ⚽️

With the World Cup starting today it’s safe to say Jack’s chippy is behind the lads, so go and do us proud and hopefully finally bring football home🤩⚽️

Also, please be aware of opening hours during England games, as many of you know our group stage games are kicking off as we close the shop door (9pm/10pm).. due to this I will be closing an hour earlier only on the day of England games in order for all the staff to get back home, get ready and watch it properly so we can show our support to the nation👏🏼

🍕 MENU ANNOUNCEMENT 🍕

Unfortunately from today, we are no longer doing pizzas here at Jack’s.

Due to many reasons, mainly cost price for pizzas increasing constantly and staff time preparing and making the pizzas during peak times a hard strain,
I feel this is the best option going forward.
