We are very pleased to say that our fantastic supervisor Harriet is a finalist in the Young Rising Star category for the Weetabix Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards.

Not only can she seamlessly run the restaurant with a fine eye to detail, she also has a huge passion for pastry and often works in the kitchen to craft new desserts.

Harriet also comes from a farming background, sometimes working on her farm before her shift.
This hard work does not go unnoticed by anyone at Palmichael and we would be lost without her!

This is why we would like to wish her the best of luck!

Unfortunately it is time for us to say goodbye and good luck to chef Ed.

Ed has worked with us at The Palmichael for three years, a fabulous sous chef to Michael. He bought fresh, new ideas to the pass time after time, really showing his creative side.

Ed also won silver at Young Chef of the Year which is a phenomenal achievement, one we are so proud of. We hope this helps him with his future dreams of opening a pub in Derbyshire.

Last night we were honoured to be named 3rd Best Restaurant at the Northampton Life Awards! 🥉 We had a fantastic time celebrating at Chester House!

We’d like to say a huge thank you to every single person who took the time to vote for us. Your support, loyalty and kind words mean the world to our family and the entire Palmichael team. We couldn’t have achieved this without you.

Congratulations to all of the winners and finalists – it’s fantastic to see so many outstanding local businesses being recognised. Northamptonshire is home to many incredible small businesses, and we’re proud to be part of it.

Few restaurants have shaped out a legacy as enduring, or as loved as The Palmichael, and the long-established Burton Latimer restaurant has added yet another accolade to its name, taking home the Taste of England Award at the Discover Northamptonshire Tourism Awards earlier this year

What a fantastic afternoon we had yesterday! It was an absolute pleasure to welcome and serve lunch to some of Northamptonshire’s finest restaurateurs here at the Palmichael.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Tom Warner from Warner’s Gin for such an engaging and inspiring talk, and to Clive from Berkmann W**e Cellars for the exceptional w**e pairings that perfectly complemented each course and also a big thank you to Stuart from Nuovo restaurant Northampton for organising the events.

Days like these remind us how lucky we are to be part of such a supportive and passionate hospitality community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a memorable occasion. We can’t wait to welcome you back again soon! 🥂🍷🤍 **ecellars

At The Palmichael, Vince is the man who does it all. Our top maintenance man, lasagna chef and gardener. The restaurant would not be the same without him! Today, we’d like to celebrate Vince as well as all the amazing dads out there. Wishing you a very Happy Father’s Day. Thank you for everything you do!
