The Sidings Tea Room The Sidings Tearoom is located at Chasewater Railway, Brownhills West Station, within Chasewater Country Park. We are open 7 days a week, 10am to 4pm.

We take bookings for afternoon teas. Come along and join us at the Sidings Tea Room. We are based within Brownhills West Station at Chasewater Railway. We are open 7 days a week and food is served from 10am. The Sidings Tea Room offers a warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere for you to enjoy a drink or light bite to eat. We have a daily and weekend menu including home made cakes and cream teas.

We are family friendly, children and dogs are more than welcome. We are able to cater for childrens birthday parties and also take bookings for afternoon teas. Please inbox us for further information.

Did you know we serve afternoon tea daily ❤️ We have lots of mid week availability and some weekend availability during August. Our afternoon teas are £21.95 per person. We do also offer a child’s afternoon tea, please message us for more details. Booking is required for afternoon teas and a minimum of 48 hours notice is needed.

Our annual charities day is fast approaching! An event not to be missed. Pop the date in your diaries -

Sunday 2nd August 2026. 10am to 4pm.

A day where local charities and good causes come together to raise awareness and much needed funds.

Pop along and see us for a fun filled, family day out. We will be open 10am to 4pm serving our normal menu along with our amazing homemade cakes. Chasewater Railway trains will be running (normal train fayres apply), the gift and model shop be open for your souvenirs, our onsite museum (free to enter) will also be open 10am to 4pm.

Are you a crafter? Would you like to pop down to the tea room to meet likeminded people? The lovely Kate will be hosting her new Cake and Craft group on Saturday 19th September from 10am to 12pm here at The Sidings Tea Room. Bring along your latest project, sit and chat with other crafters in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Event is free to attend, although of course any purchases from the tea room are chargeable as normal. Car parking is free for our customers at Brownhills West Station (WS8 7NL) directly outside the tea room. The tea room is level access and spacious.

With the extreme temperatures predicted this week, we will be serving all hot food until 1pm. After 1pm we will have cold sandwiches, iced coffees, ice creams, homemade cake and hot/cold drinks available.

Our staff work extremely hard and the back kitchen gets very hot. Please do respect our staff over the next few days, their safety is our priority. Please visit us between 10am and 1pm for your hot food.

Please do take care of yourselves in this extreme heat. We appreciate your patience and understanding ❤️

It’s Bank holiday Monday and we are open as normal (10am to 4pm). The trains are running at Chasewater Railway. Trains leave the station from the platform outside the tea room window. We will be serving our full menu from 10am to 3pm, we have delicious homemade cakes, ice cold drinks, iced coffees and a freezer full of ice cream. What’s more to love? There’s so much goodness here but you can’t help but adore it… we look forward to seeing you soon ☀️

We are delighted to share that we have once again retained our 5 star food hygiene rating after a routine visit from the food standards agency ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Here at The Sidings Tea Room we take food safety, cleanliness and hygiene seriously to ensure a very high standard is maintained. Our staff work extremely hard to ensure our customers are safe at all times.

Thank you to our kitchen team for making this happen. I’m so very proud of all our staff, they’re a credit to the tea room ❤️

Happy Easter from all of us at The Sidings Tea Room 🐣

We are open today! We are serving our normal menu (last food orders at 3pm).

We have some delicious homemade cakes available on the counter today including -

Chocolate mini egg cake
Carrot cake
Creme egg brownies
Mini egg millionaires shortbread
Mint aero rocky road
Bread pudding
Lemon drizzle
Victoria sponge
Chocolate marble cake
Bakewell tarts
Coffee cake

We don’t have room to display them all on the counter so if you can’t see what you’re after, ask one of the girls and we can see if we still have it available 😊

The trains are running at Chasewater Railway, there is an Easter egg hunt for the children too (details available from the railway shop).
