I know i mentioned about not making wedding cakes in my last post but Samantha got in touch with me over 2 years ago about me making their cake. I mentioned I don't make them but after we messaged a few times and worked out logistics I agreed to do it, and I'm so happy i did 😊

A beautiful buttercream cake with pearls and a pale beige and black colour scheme. I received amazing pictures of the cake at the venue and the happy couple cutting it.

I know people say they don't like icing, but the finish and decoration you can get from a traditional iced cake makes it so satisfying to work with, not to mention the skill and practice it takes over the years to perfect. Working with fondant will ways be my favourite (plus all my cakes are ganached under the icing, so it makes the icing taste much nicer!)

I can only upload 10 photos at a time so here's a few cakes from the last couple of months. More to follow!!
