The man behind our award winning tiramisu! 👨🏻‍🍳🇮🇹

Although he’s running on little sleep and making tiramisu around the clock to keep up with demand, John still loves seeing customers enjoy every spoonful.

What many people don’t realise is just how much work goes into each tiramisu. The process starts with making homemade gluten free savoiardi, followed by carefully pasteurising 12 Italian eggs before everything is combined to create the finished dessert.

It’s a labour of love, made entirely from scratch, and we’re incredibly proud of the dedication and passion John puts into every tiramisu.

John has been busy in the kitchen again, and this beautiful Torta della Nonna has been baked to perfection! 🇮🇹✨

Made to a traditional Italian recipe, a sweet shortcrust pastry filled with lemon crema pasticcera and topped with toasted pine nuts. The perfect balance of buttery pastry, creamy citrus filling, and nutty crunch.

Sadly, this one isn’t gluten free, but it certainly looks and tastes like a little slice of Italy! 🍋🥧
