Hello!! We’ve got some plans for The Bothy… 👀
We’ve been having a big think about what The Bothy should look like going forward, and we’re pretty excited about what’s taking shape.
We’re moving away from the restaurant and bar and going back to something a bit simpler - a lovely café with great coffee, excellent bread, brilliant sandwiches, fish & chips, cakes, local produce, good w**e and a few of our favourite things to take home.
We’re also talking to some fantastic local businesses about bringing their goodies together under one roof, so The Bothy can become a little food hub for Burghead and beyond.
We’re planning to open in the evenings once a month too - either with our own team or with some brilliant guest chefs. 🤩
My great granny Georgie had a grocery shop just around the corner from The Bothy, back when Burghead had over 50 shops and businesses. Today, there are just a handful.
We’d love The Bothy to become part of that community again - but for it to work, we need your support and we need a great team around us to be able to stay open all year round.
We have an immediate vacancy for an over-18 FOH team member with experience. This could be hospitality experience or simply experience in a customer-facing role in retail or a similar environment. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone friendly, reliable and who genuinely enjoys looking after people.
