Autumn at The Falcon 🍂
As the days get shorter, and the evenings grow chilly, the kitchen at The Falcon starts to come alive with the comforting aromas of hearty stews, baking pies and tender braised meats. Autumn has fast become our favourite time of year, when people’s appetites for cosy meals, good wines and heartier dishes start to grow 🥘
We are fortunate enough to have access to fresh vegetables from a local farm, carefully chosen and picked by our owner and head chef, Kieren. Each dish is crafted with love, featuring colourful root vegetables, squashes, cauliflower, kale, and carrots (to name but a few), all bursting with farm fresh flavour 🥦
Kieren’s famous Beef Wellingtons will be back on the menu, available to pre-order or take away (with 4 days prior notice), and look out for his melt in the mouth braised beef short ribs with creamy mash potato. And for the sweet toothed among you, delicious fruit crumbles and irresistible deep filled pies with lashings of custard await 🥧
