After 19 years we have decided to close Budleigh Fish and Chips
and retire.

As many of you will know, we have been trying to sell the
business for a while but have had no success. The economic
climate is certainly not on our side! It is now time for us to
recover our evenings and weekends and move on.
Our last official shift will be the evening 23 rd December;
however, we are planning one last hurrah, a charity night to
raise funds for Water Aid, a charity we have supported for many
years. This will be on the evening of 30 th December. We will be
cooking food for donations only. We will be unable to accept
credit card payments. We do hope you will support this
evening.
Thank you for your support, friendship and kindness over these
years, from a fire on day 2 of owning the shop, recession,
Covid, Liz Truss, cost of living crisis and today’s financial
pressures.
We will miss you!
