We’re looking for a reliable, passionate and hardworking chef to join our team at The Kings Arms.

We’re a busy, proper village pub serving good, hearty food, from our popular Sunday roasts and pub classics to regular specials.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their food, keeps an organised kitchen and understands that good preparation makes for a good service! 🔥

What we’re looking for:

🔪 Experience in a pub or busy kitchen
🍽️ Confident cooking fresh, quality food
🧠 Well organised with excellent prep skills
🧼 High standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
🤝 A genuine team player
🔥 Calm and capable under pressure
💡 Creative and happy to contribute ideas for specials

Most importantly, we want someone dependable, who takes pride in their work and cares about the food we serve our customers.

🔥 WELL… THAT WENT BLOODY BRILLIANTLY! 🔥

THE ROAST IS BACK, BABY! 🍽️🔥

And judging by today, you lot have definitely missed your Sunday dinners! 😂

The kitchen was absolutely flying, Yorkshire puddings were reaching dangerous heights, gravy was being poured like there was no tomorrow and plates were coming back suspiciously clean! 👀🤣

A massive THANK YOU to our brilliant team who absolutely smashed it today. You worked your arses off and handled the Sunday madness like absolute pros! 👏❤️

And to EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER who came through the door today — THANK YOU! 🥰

Whether you demolished a roast, attacked one of our ridiculously large Yorkshires or simply came in to support us, we genuinely appreciate every single one of you. ❤️

It’s been bloody lovely seeing the pub buzzing again on a Sunday.

So… Sunday roasts are officially BACK! 🎉

And yes…

The Yorkshires really ARE that bloody big. 😂

🚨 WARNING: Our Yorkshire puddings have officially become a structural feature of the building! 😂

Forget those tiny little Yorkies that disappear under the gravy… ours are MASSIVE! 🤣

Crispy, golden, fluffy and quite frankly big enough to need their own postcode. 🏠

We’re not saying they’re the biggest around… but we’ve yet to find anyone brave enough to challenge them! 😏
