๐ REALLY SAD NEWS FOR THE CROWN & GAWCOTT ๐
Weโre genuinely saddened to let everyone know that the InPost locker at The Crown is being removed following a complaint from someone in the village.
We brought the locker here for one reason to provide a convenient service for our local community. ๐ฆ
So many people have been using it to collect and return parcels locally, without having to travel elsewhere, and itโs incredibly disappointing that a service benefiting so many will now be lost because of a complaint.

We work incredibly hard to keep The Crown at the heart of Gawcott and to offer more than just food and drink. Whether itโs community events, fundraising, local activities or simply providing useful facilities, we genuinely want the pub to be an asset to our village. โค๏ธ
Not everything will suit everybody, and we completely respect peopleโs right to raise concerns. We just wish that concerns could sometimes be discussed with us first, so we have the opportunity to find a solution before the whole community loses something useful.
A huge thank you to everyone who has used and supported the InPost locker. Weโre really sorry to see it go. ๐๐ฆ
