It's APPLE DAY! Come and join us at the Buckfastleigh Orchard Millennium Green today Sunday 20 Sept. We open at midday and the weather is looking good so come and join us!

Sunday 20th September at Apple Day we are holding a family treasure hunt. Fun for all the family, cryptic clues, anagrams and hunt the Apples for the children.
1st Prize £100 cash, kindly sponsored by the Singing Kettle, Buckfastleigh
2nd Prize 4 Takeaway Pizzas, kindly sponsored by San Benedittos at Northgate House Hotel, Buckfastleigh
3rd Prize, a case of mixed drinks, kindly sponsored by Luscombe Drinks

We have plenty to keep you busy - bring a baked pie, scones or cake and enter our Baking Contest (entries 1000-1130), get a team together for our Family Treasure Hunt (1st prize £100 - thank you The Singing Kettle), make your own bug-house in our workshop, listen to the live music and a performance from Dartington Morris.

The weather forecast for Sunday is looking good so grab your family and come along to visit the craft stalls and other vendors.

APPLE DAY is this coming Sunday 20th September. Come and join us at the Buckfastleigh Orchard Millennium Green from midday for free entertainment.

Live music * Morris dancing * barbecue * kids bug house building workshop * craft stalls * apple pressing (bring your apples!) * tea hut * and more

Get baking now to join our Baking Contest (forms available from the Valiant Soldier or Brainwave), or enter our Family Treasure Hunt with a first prize of £100 (thank you The Singing Kettle).

This coming Sunday 20th September is APPLE DAY at the Orchard Millennium Green in Buckfastleigh. As part of this celebration of all things apple we are having a Baking Contest.

You can bake a cake, a fruit pie or a plate of scones. Application forms are available from the Valiant Soldier and Brainwave in Buckfastleigh.

A reminder your entries must be presented at the Orchard Millennium Green between 10.00 and 11.30 - no later as judging will take place at 11.45!

BAKING CONTEST - as part of this years Apple Day on Sunday 20 September we are having a baking contest!

Bake a cake, a fruit pie or a plate of scones - entry forms available from Brainwave or the Valiant Soldier.

First prize is £50 cash so get baking. We have a juniors (under 15) section so why not make this a family occasion?

APPLE DAY is on 20 September at the Orchard Millennium Green from midday until 4pm. Come along for free entertainment, kids activities, food and, of course, apple pressing - bring your own apples to be pressed for your own juice (bring a container)

Apple Day 2026 Family Treasure Hunt!

As part of this years Apple Day (Sunday 20 September) we have a treasure hunt trail from the Orchard Millennium Green. Prizes include £100 cash (sponsored by The Singing Kettle), and vouchers for 4 take-away pizzas (San Benedetto's).

There are picture and cryptic clues as well as anagrams so get your thinking caps on!

Apple Day is Sunday 20 September, from 12 midday until 4pm at the Orchard Millennium Green. There will be food, entertainment, kids activities and craft/gift stalls.
