Last night we celebrated 8 months of our Tuesday night poker and our Ann’s 70th birthday with our biggest night yet! 33 people joined us for poker and it’s become much then a night of poker, it’s become a treat night from the diet with Sarah, Muriel’s and Shiona’s baking skills, it’s become a group chat for all sorts of nonsense and most of all, a friendly space to relax, enjoy some cards and some great chat (well most of the time 😉)

Now we are putting the feelers out for a Friday Night Darts team? 🎯

We have been invited to join a Bathgate and district darts league but before we commit, we need numbers!

What a day we had yesterday 😍! We know it’s not for everyone, but that’s the beauty of being who we are as a local pub ❤️ One day you’ve got a room full of poker players, the next day you’ve got a tonnes of football fans for an Edinburgh Derby and then one day you’ve got an amazing Queen in 3 inch heals belting out Tina turner and some bingo numbers 🥰🫶

Every year during the month of September, the Jack Daniel’s Distillery celebrates the birthday of its founder. This lasts the entire month, rather than just one day, because no one knows what date Jack Daniel was actually born! 🤣

So we are joining them! Visit us this September, and raise a glass to Jack!

5 days out from our 2nd drag bingo show our Queen cancelled. Love that.

We managed to source another amazing queen, long story short she got her weekends mixed up. Cancelled, we are now 3 days out.

But, we do not give up and you deserve the best, Introducing our saviour for this weekend... Fresh from a sold out Fringe show AND performing at the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth games... !

Remember while the event is on 2-5pm there will be no tables available inside. Our b**r garden is still fully open for walk-ins and we are putting out pop up bar to use so you can access some drinks right outside until our bingo is finished!
