How’s everyone coping with this heat? The other warmer countries always comment on how we moan about the warmer weather, but we’re simply not used to it 🤷🏼‍♀️ same as dogs really. You can go abroad and dogs are being walked all times of the day, however it kills them here because they aren’t acclimatised to it. Hope everyone is ok. I do worry about the elderly and the very young. Check on your neighbours folks 🩷

That’s it guys I’m closing up for the day .. I’ve served 15 people and I’m so grateful to each and every one of you!! I’m going to go and safely enjoy some sunshine ☀️
Remember to stay hydrated and use plenty of sun cream!!
Shop back open tomorrow 10am - closing time tbc… it’s going to be even hotter tomorrow and my staff welfare must come above all else 🩷

Anyone else’s kiddos finishing school early today due to the heat? There’s been a lot of conflicting options online, but I think it’s a good idea 👍🏻
A lot of schools near me are closing at 1pm. I’m here at the shop until half past 1. Hint hint. 😉

🚨 SHOP HOURS CHANGE FOR TODAY 🚨
Guys, I’m going to open early today (10am) and close early (1.30pm). As predicted, the heat is affecting sales (last nights figures were down 75% compared to the last 2 Tuesdays 🥲)
so figured it be better to open when it’s coolest and close up for the peak heat time. Blimey it’s like we’re in Spain isn’t it. Do we all get a siesta too? 🤣🤣

Gosh it’s a hot one today!!! We’re not using any ovens today because I think my team would leave me if I made them do that 🤣🤣 we got bakes done yesterday… today is a day of decorating them ready for you and also lots of cooling, no bake, chilled items for the chiller 🙌🏼 shop will be open this evening 5.30 - 7.30!! Perfect timing for the match 🙌🏼 ⚽️

Guys with a heat wave coming next week … what kinds of things can we tempt you with in the shop? It’s going to be veryyy warm in the kitchen so we may cut production down a little because I don’t want my lil team suffering in there. Could still do with some sales though so what do you wanna see?? 🤔
