🌊 Community Safety Notice – Welton Waters

We need to address an ongoing issue on the East Bank of the lake. Groups of local youths have been gathering, and while we understand everyone wants to enjoy the area, alcohol and open‑water swimming do not mix. There have been tragic incidents in other parts of the country, and we absolutely do not want to see anything like that happen here.

We’re also finding large amounts of rubbish left behind — beer cans, bottles, crisp packets and general waste. Other people come here to enjoy the beauty of the lake, and this mess spoils it for everyone.

Please remember: after 4.30pm we have no safety boats on the water. If someone gets into trouble, there is no rescue cover.

Parents and guardians — please speak to your children about the risks. We want everyone to enjoy the lake safely, but the current behaviour is creating a very real danger.

Thank you for helping us keep Welton Waters safe and respected.

The bus parade route on Monday 25 May celebrating Hull City's win🥳

Fans are welcome to wave off the team buses from the MKM Stadium at 3pm. Fans are asked NOT to gather on Anlaby Road to avoid blocking access to Hull Royal Infirmary.

Please make sure you are adequately planning for the weather as it is due to be the hottest day of the year, wear suncream, drink plenty of water and wear a hat. Whilst the parade is moving, please enjoy the experience but do not be tempted to step onto the carriageway your safety and the safety of the busses is paramount.

Flares will not be tolerated at the event; anyone found with flares is risking their Hull City Season pass
