Our annual Shakespeare with Sheps performance came to our Faversham Brewery last week – and what a spectacular show it was!

The Changeling Theatre performed The Bard’s sharp-tongued rom-com Much Ado About Nothing, adding in a sprinkling of Shepherd Neame references too.

Our Executive Jonathan Neame was also there to welcome them, and ticketholders were able to enjoy drinks from our bar beforehand and during the interval.

It is the fourth year we have partnered with the company for live summer theatre shows and the second inside the brewery itself, following a successful debut in The Old Brewery Store last year.

The tour is performed in mostly outdoor spaces across Kent and the South East, but the cast make a special exception for us – thank you to everyone at the Changeling for a fabulous night! 🎭🍻

We’ve teamed up with fellow independent Kent business Karimix to launch a delicious new range of signature table sauces, now available across our pubs.

The new Sheps Originals collection features four flavour-packed sauces, carefully created to complement Shepherd Neame's seasonal menus, which champion locally sourced ingredients in our pubs across Kent and the South East.

Food manufacturer Karimix is based at Stone Stile Farm in Selling, just six miles from our historic Brewery in Faversham, and uses local produce suppliers including Thanet Earth.

The new range features...
🍽️ Beer BBQ Sauce: a sweet, smoky barbecue sauce inspired by Singha, the original Thai lager which Shepherd Neame has produced for the UK market since 2022

We are delighted to announce that we are now the official beer supplier for Saltdean United FC and club sponsor.

The new partnership will see us supply our brands for the new clubhouse at the club, based in Brighton, which is also known as 'The Tigers'.

They have also taken on our Charity of the Year, Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS) as their charity partner for the 2026/7 season, raising funds and awareness with its Men’s and Women’s First Teams proudly wearing the KSS logo on their home shirts this season.

The partnership was kicked off in style on Saturday (July 4) when the club played a charity match with a team from Shepherd Neame taking on Saltdean in the inaugural Flavell Brown Charity Cup.

The game went to 2-2 and went to penalties with Shepherd Neame taking home the cup!

The day also raised £1304 from gate donations along with a £500 donation from us and Saltdean United, bringing the grand total for the day to just over £1800 👏👏

We are delighted to announce we have been appointed the official beer supplier of golf’s original championship The Open for a fourth consecutive year.

The 154th Open will take place at Royal Birkdale in Southport from Sunday (July 12) to Sunday, July 19, with The R&A expecting up to 300,000 spectators across Championship week.

Golf fans will be able to enjoy a selection of Shepherd Neame brands, including official beer of the championship Singha, the premium Thai lager which the Faversham-based brewery has produced for the UK market since 2022. Iron Wharf Stout, Whitstable Bay Pale Ale and Orchard View cider will also be available throughout the event.

In a further boost to its partnership with elite golf, Shepherd Neame has also been named the official beer supplier of the AIG Women’s Open for the first time which will be held at Royal Lytham & St Annes in Lancashire from July 29 to August 2 🍻⛳

Welcome back, Shringi Kumari 👏

Shringi was named first prize winner at last year’s Contemporary Kent Artists (CKA) exhibition and, earlier this month, she returned to of Cumberland to showcase her incredible artwork.

Shringi spoke about the inspiration behind her pieces and her creative process and was joined on the night by CKA founders Maxine Russo and James Gilgunn 🎨
