From a packed out quiz to a b**r slinging Oktoberfest we had an absolute blast with you all this weekend 🙌 thank you 🥰

Thank you for always supporting our events & choosing us to join for quizzes & to host your parties, these things are huge for us 🙏

This week looks set to be another busy one:

Thursday - it's our monthly book club meet up, this month we've been reading LJ Ross Holy Island, who knows what October's choice might be!! It's always great to try something new & Book Club definitely gets us all doing that! Join us at 7.30pm to see what October's choice is going to be.
We'll have great ales, wines & pies & pasties available too!

Friday - it's a pies & pints kind of Friday, join us to sample a JGK Butchers & Delicatessen tasty pie or pastie & one of our delicious ales to go along with it!

Saturday - we'll be joined by DoughJo PizzaCo. & hosting a 40th birthday party!

Sunday - it's Cheese Club Sunday at 1.30pm, bring along a piece of cheese to share with your fellow cheese lovers & we'll provide the crackers & chutneys!! All you have to do is sit back & enjoy a delicious, sociable Sunday afternoon!

🍻 What an Oktoberfest 2026 was! We can't thank all of you that joined us enough for making it so much fun!

A special thank you to the team who always make these events possible & a huge thank you to JGK Butchers & Delicatessen for feeding you & a special shout out to Oompah Cymru for their first visit to us & I'm sure not their last! They certainly bought all the fun & games to make it an Oktoberfest to remember!!

Today it'll all be about recovering from the night before & we've got you covered!

Doors open at 12 noon, we have a party from 2pm to 7pm in the Old Brewhouse & Courtyard, but plenty of room for everyone.

Come & see us & wind down from your weekend, pints, pies, pasties & filled rolls to enjoy & our lovely Katie looking after you all 🥰

Whatever your plans, have a fantastic day! If you’re joining us this afternoon from 4pm, we can’t wait to see your lederhosen or dirndl! 😉😂

Parking is on site as normal but don't forget to organise your carriages home 🚕🚕

The Oompah band join us a bit later on & JGK Butchers & Delicatessen will be here to feed you all!

And don’t worry about the morning after – we will be here from 12-7pm with our filled rolls & pies tomorrow, the perfect hangover cure. The ideal match for your hair of the dog!
