🌾🍂 𝐀 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐚 𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞 🍂🌾

This afternoon, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the lovely crew from 𝐒𝐭 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐨𝐧 for their Harvest Tea.

These are exactly the kind of occasions we love. A room full of people, sharing food, stories, laughter and a little bit of time together. It is what community is all about. 💛

We served a generous 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐦𝐚𝐧’𝐬, filled with all the goodness of a proper Harvest table. It was the perfect fit for the occasion, and the café was soon filled with full tummies, happy faces and chatter.

A lot of work goes on behind the scenes to make these events happen, and I feel truly blessed to have such a wonderful team of 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐲 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 who make it all possible. 🐝💛

Thank you to everyone at St Britius Church for trusting us with your celebration. It was a genuine pleasure to feed you, look after you and share your afternoon with you.

✈️🚴 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗔𝗙𝗔 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗻 🚴✈️

Back in June, we were very proud to once again support 𝗥𝗔𝗙𝗔 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗔𝗙 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗻, something we have been honoured to be involved with for the last few years.

This year, we donated 𝟲𝟬𝟬 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘀 to help fuel the riders taking part. And judging by how quickly they disappeared, they were certainly put to good use! 😄

RAFA Rides is about so much more than cycling. It brings together serving personnel, veterans, families and supporters, while raising vital funds for the RAF community.

And what an incredible result. 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 £𝟯𝟬,𝟰𝟭𝟴.𝟱𝟳 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗔𝗙 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, thanks to everyone who rode, volunteered, donated and supported the event.

It’s a cause that means a great deal to us. We have enormous respect for those who serve, those who have served, and the families who support them.
And once again, this wasn’t just about us. 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁, each contributing what they could. That’s what community is about. People coming together, supporting one another and doing their bit. 💛

It’s something we feel very strongly about at Humble Bumble, and something we are passionate about continuing to build on within our local community.

🌧️ It’s a rainy start to the day, but don’t let Wednesday get the hump! 🌧

We have got 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗵𝗼𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘀, 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 and, of course, 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱, 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲 from The Oxford Coffee Company, for that all important midweek caffeine injection.

Because sometimes Wednesday requires coffee. And sometimes it requires MORE coffee. 😂☕️

So, pop in for a little pick me up, meet a friend for a catch up, or simply take a few minutes to pause, reset and pretend you’ve got your life completely together. 😉

Sharing this update from Mayfield Eggs

With the recent Salmonella news in the UK, it’s good to know the eggs we use come from fully vaccinated hens, regularly tested flocks, and strict food‑safety standards. Every egg is traceable right back to its flock. 🐣🐓

Local producers doing things properly really matters. 💛

A quick reassurance about Salmonella…
You may have seen the recent news about a Salmonella outbreak in the UK, with investigations identifying eggs imported from outside the UK as a potential source.
We wanted to reassure our customers of the measures that we take here at Mayfield Eggs.
1/ All of our hens are vaccinated against Salmonella
2/ Every flock is regularly tested for Salmonella throughout its life as part of the UK’s national Salmonella control programme
3/ Our eggs are accredited by Laid in Britain assurance scheme, which is approved by the Food Standards Agency
4/ Our eggs are fully traceable back to the flock they came from - Every egg says F(number) which gives us the flock number that laid that egg.

Alongside this, we follow strict hygiene, biosecurity and food-safety procedures both on the farm and in our egg packing centre which is audited by Salsa Food.

Food safety is something we take extremely seriously, and we’re proud of the standards behind every Mayfield egg.

Perfect swirl, rainbow sprinkles, chocolate flake and a hudden pocket of vanilla sponge.

If you see her today, tell her she’s a genius... She will strongly deny it, but we all know the truth 👌

☀️🎉 Summer of Sport This Sunday 🎉☀️

We will here on the Recreation Ground this Sunday for the Summer of Sport Bash with plenty of iced coffees, smoothies and sandwiches to keep everyone cool and fuelled.

It’s the biggest fundraising day of the year for village charities and organisations, including Brize Norton Primary School and St Britius Church, and it makes a huge difference when the community shows up. If you’re around, please do pop down and support all these brilliant local people and places.
