And no we aren't filming a new "honey I shrunk the kids" 😂

The amazing Clarke family from Manchester have had a mini Esca made to remember all the lovely times they’ve spent with us — especially for when they can’t make it down on holiday.

We think it’s absolutely amazing! 🤩

🎉🍾 We’re turning ONE this Saturday! 🍾🎉

Wow… where has the last 12 months gone?!

We just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been part of our first year. Your support, love, amazing feedback and kind comments have meant the world to us, and we couldn’t have done it without you. 💚

To celebrate, we’re throwing a small gathering for all our regulars, supporters, friends and family this Saturday from 6pm.

Pop in and celebrate Esca’s first birthday with us! We’ll be serving complimentary nibbles and canapés and the bar will be open and fully stocked, and we’d love for you to join us for a drink, a chat and a few Esca laughs. 🥂

✨ Part 4 of our renovation series brings everything together. We finally finished all the painting, the signs went up, the kitchens were completed, we sourced our brand-new coffee machine, built all the furniture, and even gave the toilets a complete refresh.

The vision was finally complete. 🤩

If you’re planning on joining us on Saturday evening, please drop us a message so we have a rough idea of numbers.

We attended the Muddy Stilettos award ceremony last night to pick up our certificate for Devon's "Best Cafe" 2026 🏆

Thank you all so so much for the support from day 1, you guys have made this possible in such a short space of time.

We had such a beautiful evening celebrating around Exeter Quay, and what a feeling it was to meet all the other great Devon award winners. Each award was thoroughly deserved by everyone and it was great to mingle and get to know you all. 🤩
