As part of bringing Beamers Brixham downstairs to the Ground Floor on the Quayside, we're creating something very special 🤩 a "𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙭𝙝𝙖𝙢 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚" Wall - featuring 200 photographs chosen from our local community 🤗

We’re looking for pictures tucked away in family albums and old photo boxes, as well as photos taken today 📖

Perhaps it’s a fishing boat with your parents or grandparents aboard 🎣 a present-day crew, a proud fisherman with an incredible catch 🐟 or the Quay as it looked decades ago. It could be a Trawler Race 🚢 a festival, a much-loved local character 👲 a family gathering 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 a business long since gone 🏬 or simply a photo that captures Brixham being Brixham 🌅

Beamers has supported Brixham fishermen and cooked their catch for many years 🦀 It’s also been the setting for birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions for local families 🎂

As we begin this next chapter, we want part of the new space to belong to the town and the people who have made it what it is 🫶

Our aim is simple: to preserve a little piece of Brixham’s history for future generations to see and enjoy 🙏
