Most of the ingredients we use are organic, fair-trade and locally sourced which means you may also encounter slight variations on the menu due to seasonal availability. If you have any special dietary requirements or allergy concerns please inform us when ordering and feel f

All of our food is vegan & vegetarian, meaning it is free from meat, dairy, eggs and honey. You’ve most definitely seen this incredibly talented and creative human strutting around Cafe Kino and maybe even in this incredible headpiece they made!?!

Laurie’s go to cafe kino combo is the BLT and a Club Mate!!

Laurie is a q***r multidisciplinary maker; creator of puppets,creatures and garments and when not cooking up a delicious and nutritious meal for you is definitely cooking up an idea or two…

Laurie hosted the puppet show here at kino for Bristols experimental puppet show (BRISTOL EXPERIMENTAL PUPPET FESTIVAL)!!! He is always up to new schemes and antics :’))

We are so lucky to have such amazing coop members here at the Cafe who contribute so much joy and whimsy to the space!! (WE LOVE YOU LAURIE)

Sitting somewhere between noise rock and sludge punk, this DIY outfit have been gracing stages and peeling skin from listeners’ faces, since May 2016. During that time gigging up & down the UK, from DIY house shows to supporting Mclusky, Big Business, Part Chimp, Vi**ra Boys, USA Nails and Jucifer, Human Leather have delivered their chaotic savagery to all ventures and venues seeking aural abomination.

🎶 Every Saturday this August, ‘Kino Lives’ takes over with some of Bristol’s freshest and finest live acts, celebrating 2 decades of independent culture, q***r joy, DIY creativity and doing things differently.

🙏 Kino has spent 22 years giving Bristol’s artists, collectives, outsiders and lovely weirdos a place to meet, make things and make noise, as well as being a vital community space in central Bristol for trans, POC and q***r folk.

🫶 Kino is currently under threat of closure and we urgently need to raise funds to sustain our home on Stokes Croft and keep its doors open.
