Owning a restaurant is the most incredible & unpredictable rollercoaster imaginable. It brings unequivocal highs and inconceivable lows.

Since we opened in May 2016, we've employed some legends, won awards, had a brilliant guardian review, been stolen from, built relationships with producers and suppliers & trained team members who have since gone on to do incredible things. Our team members have become like family over the years and without their skill and dedication, we would not have come so far.

We have adapted and evolved through this pandemic and find ourselves offering some of the most exciting food to date. However, change is inevitable. Some very exciting new experiences and opportunities have presented themselves to us which we would like to explore. Lauren has recently started a new role with Bristol University & Henry is moving on to be the Food and Drink Development Manager at Boston Tea Party.

We are therefore going to be handing over the reins of the Cauldron and are looking forward to welcoming whoever brings a new breath of life to the restaurant and our lovely neighbourhood.

We thank the Bristol food scene family for being so accepting and welcoming. This city is just incredible! We thank all of our fabulous suppliers and producers, our coffee roasters and beer brewers. We thank our friends and families for all their unwavering support. But most of all, we thank our customers, you kept us going through the years, especially this last one.
