18 years ago today, I became a mother, having miscarried prior, and then a difficult birth. At a time when miscarriages and post natal depression was not a conversation. I didn't feel like celebrating, first time mothers my heart goes out to you. To all those who are not feeling as wonderful as expected it is understandable you are normal.
