Play time is almost over, but not quite yet. It's almost bee n 3 weeks since I posted simply because I've been out living life to the fullest. I hope the summer sunshine has treated you well. Sunday a day of rest.... or is it?
Big up for being such a great man. Helping me whenever he can it was my pleasure doing the same for him for a change. Knackered now though lol but it was worth the time spent.

How do you wash your fruits and veggies?

I use bicarbonate of soda and soak them for at least 15 mins upwards. This is to remove the chemicals and pesticides that are used on them when they are being grown.

Trying something new food and weight wise. Weighing my food is not fun at all but to make sure I'm not over eating and getting all the good nutrients I need it's a must right now.
So I made bang bang Tofu with orzo hot salad using sliced carrots, green sweet peppers, carrot tops, shallots, spring onion, garlic and ginger seasoned with bang bang seasoning, all purpose maggie seasoning and cayenne pepper that's it. I used several cook spoons of pasta water to create steam after lightly frying the Tofu and carrots then added in the fresh veggie and let it cook for 5 minutes to keep the crunch. I boiled the orzo pasta until aldente and weighed it again after draining. Do you know it had more than doubled in weight so I had to weight out exactly how much I was supposed to eat once cooked. I mixed it in with the stir fry mix and served, topped with fresh peppers and carrot tops and shallots and a little nutritional yeast. I couldn't finish it! The meal in total was just over 600g.
