Located close to Bristol University and the hospital, The Highbury Vaults is everyone's favourite local, from students, lecturers and academics to doctors and nurses. Dating back to the early 1800's, this pub is still very traditional inside with leather bench seating and its original snug bar with a jug and bottle! Step through the pub and into the beautiful hidden walled garden where you can enjoy alfresco this summer. A great real ale selection is on offer from guest ales and Youngs alike. The Highbury Vaults also appears in the CAMRA Heritage Guide and the Good Pub Guide.

A cask-conditioned dark porter, clocking in at a very sensible 4.5% ABV. Rich, dark and beautifully comforting - exactly the sort of pint you want as the evenings draw in.

A very familiar face has returned to where it all began… our very own Jack is back behind the bar! 👋

Landlord Bradd’s son, Jack was practically raised on the sound of a till drawer opening and a pint being pulled!After growing up around the Highbury, he headed off for a while - but clearly the lure of the old place was too strong!

Now he’s back where he belongs, reunited with the taps, the regulars and the pub he’s known all his life. ❤️
